Thumbs up

Dudes,

U all talking all the time about hemies....like an urban leyend or a night bed terror story!!!!!! I never saw one here

But I just saw one today!!!! Regular Cab, short bed, 4x4, 20" original rims, and a badge the size of a payloader that said HEMI.

Dudes, it's a nice big truck.

Now my question is how fast it is?

Is not that I'm afraid (with all ur stories) I'll race him anyway, nomatter the result, but just want to be mentally prepared LOL

It was brand new, and I'll be hunting it around where he lives, might take a few pics just for my trophy board hahahahahahaha, or my Vengance Site!!!!!!!

I think they are in the mid 14s stock. With a few mods maybe high 13's. That might be a bit optimistic. They are beatable.

4wds are high 15s and up, rcsb 2wds can hit HIGH 14s when the stars are aligned correctly.

high 14's is optimistic, read motor trend, lets put it this way GABE they arent that impressive. here in the states they r everywhere, and with that 4x4 frame and weight its a rock with loud exhaust. a stock SS(extended cab with fulltime AWD(4x4 components)) with the same horsepower rating and a lil more torque can beat a stock regular cab hemi, and walk on a 4x4. same thing for extended cab hemi's, and also even worse for 4x4 extended cab hemi's.

DOnt belive what oyu read in motor trend, hot rod, sport turck, truckin, etc. 90% of the time they are off on their info. I have personally seen two bone stock rcsb HEMIs run 14.8s and 14.9s all day long I inspected them too they didnt even have the tmr mod to trans done. It can only be done on the 03s one of the guys did it and turned a 14.6 the next pass, this was in good air and a LOW D/A at HRP last BNovember. A budy of mine in HS had an 03 rcsb with a superchips programmer, no cats, exhaust, CAI, tmr mod, and drag radials, he turned 13.7, not too bad IMO, havent talked to him in about 2 years so I dont know what its running now.

id like to see that, down here NONE of them put out those numbers unless highly modified. in daniels fairly stock SS(CAI and Flowmasters) we barely lost to a hemi that had gears cam tune headers and was just a regular cab hemi. hard to believe that hemis stock could be so different.

Gah, Cody...you freaking liar!!!!!!! No way a hemi runs those kinda times!!!! If you love the hemi so much, you should get you one and leave all the hard working, honest, gm driving guys alone. Get on over to DTW and see if they agree with you and your freak hemi times! That is if you can pull a few strings and get unbanned.

Seriously though, is it that hard for some of you to believe these trucks can run 14s stock in a rcsb form? Hell, our little rcsb 5.3L trucks have been doing it for years. Now you start talking 11-12 second all motor hemis, and I will have to call you a liar!

MrDestinE

Back to track on this post, my truck manage 12.85 on his nattural trim..LOL

That is 20" with 295/50/20 that score a 30" diameter, 3.73 cogs and a really old Tranny, 400.000+km on it. (overhauling it soon, just HitmanX always send me searching for post all over the net, insteed giving me info, he like it to make u suffer)

Launched in 4wd and changed to 2wd in a sec. No spare tire. Haven't used the nitrous yet cause I have a tune issued an a really ugly lean bank!!!!! and the Calibration is bouncing from odd to worse.

Allen is working on that, just have to solve a few leaks here an there.

I post a video against a hard modded subbie and a mild modded viper. Very close to them. HAd no tailgate for that race

With a good tune, I'll can take the viper, and on NOS I'm sure the subie will be Sushi!!!!!!!
[/b]
See, its just as hard for me to believe you ran 12.85 ON MOTOR with 20s, 3.73s, and ahhhhhh, oh yeah.....4x4!

Hell, my 2wd 6.0L scsb has only run a 12.40 on motor on mt et streets, and you have to weigh a good bit more than my truck. I didn't say you didn't run the times, its just alittle difficult to believe.

Everyone also saiys that stock SS's are in the 15's. So if your saying that stock RC Hemis are in the 14's, how is it that im all over them. I have raced a few. Sure we didnt get up to 90-100 MPH, or the length of the 1/4. But im fairly certain they didnt stand a chance by the legth I put on them. The only one that beat me like allstar stated, had 4.56's. To me they just arent that impressive. Gabe you shouldnt have a problem. That truck of yours is pretty quick. We all know you black one could smoke a Hemi!
