What would i need to do to change my 5.3 into a vette engine. My guess would be the intake, heads, bore and different cam? Or what would be the best way to get my 5.3 hp up like a vettes?

Long tube headers, big cam, tuning! There is nothing wrong with getting good HP out of the 5.3L. Otherwise just use a vette engine or a 6.0L.

You need a lot of aluminum

I bored my 5.3 to 5.7 specs....works great, just has the added weight (and strength) of an iron block.
