Made some rounds today just to see some friends and new products out on the market. When asked to lift my hood everyone was like who tuned it. I said I decided to learn HPTuners and do it myself and "it's not as easy as you think" I replied. Most people think it's like a power programmer and it's nothing like that. Most of the guys I talked to were making 5.7 or 6.0 conversions and still working on them. I did get to see some nice pics from the owner of Texas Trucks Unlimited that was in the process of a 6.0 swap. Very nice sleeper by the way. I was impressed to hear Allen did his tuning and fan harness. In fact everyone I talked to happened to have a tune from ALlen or some sort of accessory purchased from him. Good job Allen! You're making one hell of a name for yourself.

Yeah I agree. When most people hear that I do Hptuners myself, they think its just another power programmer. In a way it is, but they dont realize that we actually go in and change the parameters on our own, instead of just pushing a button. Some people are just so hard headed about it and think power programmers are the only way to go.

I agree, this software is awesome but you defintley cant buy the "knowlege" required to use it like Allen has. I hope to understand this better someday. But tinkering here and there is lots of fun.

I am just now starting to browse the hptuners forum and its somewhat complicating, but its something im not trying to rush to learn. But im just glad i dont have to worry about knowing that stuff because i got senor allen to do all that for me.
