Well, as I told before I was searching a race with a 92' 454SS with mods and Super charger, but too bas is not reliable enough to be 3 days in a row in the street.
Anyway, last night I got the chance to test my NOS system. This 2nd Gen Camaro owner wanted a piece of my 69SS Camaro. The 2nd Gen is equipped with a 383 stroker, Aluminum heads, manifold, cam, headers and everything for bragging 500HP and of course a 250HP shot to the vein.
As a adrenalin junkie I said yes right away, and send the word to the guy that if he could beat my truck, he was worth my Camaro…hahahaha, that just light the fire.
The guy totally agreed and made the usual comments of disliking a work truck.
We went to the rendezvous point and he looks menacing, and the sound of storm coming form his pipes was intimidating.
Anyway, I just put my hoosiers to work, and make a window with my HPtuner so I can hit right after the start the NOS over to the end. No knocking detected, so I went for it. I have a 125HP plume shot.

I place beside the Camaro, and the guy in the middle was kind of nervous for the Camaro could swing his but out. Anyway he gave the Go sign, And stalling at 2600RPM I floor it with no feeling of spinning tires, so I hit the NOS all the way down. My Truck felt very fast, never felt it before like that, need concentration to keep flooring it. At the end I pass on front with 3+ car length.

After that the Camaro owner said the NOS solenoid failed and blab blab blab, so I told him to race again both w/o NOS, and he said other time cause he thought he heard a engine noise, probably a cap or something. So I told him, when you fixed, call me again. I’ll be there.

There’s no Hemmies around here to humiliate, but theres this new comer with an EVO IX stage I that will be my next test. Keep you guys posted

    Hey Gabe, good story.

It's hard to compete against these modern engines.
I bet with all those mods you have one fast truck.

    talk to you soon,
