Thread: man, my truck is heavy

    Stopped by the gravel lot today and had them weigh my truck. Weighed in at 5720 with me in it. without me would be 5530. They were doing maintenance on the scales, so I drove to local dump just to verify the weight. Came in at 5700.

    My 1/2 ton crew cab weighs 5250 w/ me in it.
    2013 2wd Z71 6.2 crew cab

    Old Truck: '04 Chevy crew cab stroked/bored 6.0 to 408ci. forged internals, patriot 68cc stage 3 heads (11.1:1cr), comp 244/246 .600 115lsa cam, 3000 yank tc, built 4L60E, walbro 255, 60# mototron injectors, pacesetter lt's 4" single no-cat exhaust

    best time 12.93 1/4 mi @ 103 in the turbo truck.

    I wish that was all that mine weighed.


    In everyday trim 6230# + me (180). In race trim, I may knock 100 off of that.


    I guess that explains my 2.10 60' times

    I would have guessed that you were lighter than that, being a 2wd. Mine has over 100# of subwoofwers and box attached to my midgate.
