i was actually thinking yesterday about how different it would be to drive a right hand drive truck. i think my whole perception would be so off because of growing up with left hand driving.

My dad was a mailman and during work he drove a right hand drive and then came home and drove the other side... He only had one backing accident in his career driving for the government. Not bad

haha that sucks. so the pedals would be different though right? right foot would be brake and left foot would be gas? man my mind would trick me and i probably would press the wrong one at the wrong time.

Nope, right is still gas and left is brake then farther left is clutch.....

The screwy thing is you get used to the center of the rode on the left. In those the center is on the right....

Used to drive combine and truck for a custom cutting crew up north during college. To get a SEMI within 5 feet of a combine header we would get into first gear and crawl at 4-5 mph while straddling the center of the truck using your left foot on the gas. Or if you were a show off you would go backwards next to the combine....

It's really easy, where I was born in the virgin Islands everything is left hand drive but the roads are opposite, last summer I went there and drove and it's really easy to pick up and when you get back to the states it's quite easy to get back on the right hand side.

I'm actually going back there this month for about a week and will be driving on the left hand side of the road again lol.
