.....new interceptor gauge, did 2 runs tonight, 1st run was in 2 wheel drive and just mashed it from a stop , no stall up and according to the gauge ran a 13.7 @ 103 mph. 2nd run i was 2 wheel again but stalled it a bit and even though i peeled em through second gear i ran a 13.35 @ 104 mph ! What do yopu guys think? i 've never been to the track so i hoping a good 4 wheel boosted launch will get me even lower! im still excited though, i love this gauge!!-TIM

As long as you're on a flat road you get a pretty good reading. Make a run uphill and it'll show faster numbers.

Great job Tim Z!!!!!!!!! Not only impressive, yes - I'd say it was pretty accurate. Though the wheel spinning might make you think it was a little flawed in accuracy, its probably not too far from the truth.

You have any dyno data? That could help us out too and how much does your truck weigh?

P.S. - Love your wheels - they look cool - are those M/Ts?

thanks for the props. yes, i was on a flat road and no dyno data yet! None in my area yet. i have to check the weight, i think a truck like mine weighs about 5200-5400 lbs and i am a petite 6-1, 275 lbs LOL!! the wheels are Mb motoring overdrive 17x9.5 and BFG A/T's stock size 265/75/17. yes i am happy with the time , truck has gobs of power, i need to get to the track for an official time and hopefully lower with a 4wd boosted launch.

tim- man i cant wait to see some numbers on that track. that is just so cool. i was showing my dad your truck late last night, and i was like well whenever i get a little older AND IF i decide to get rid of my truck, id want a newer body style z71, or a VHO. and i told him about your truck, and he was like yeah its cool, but why would you want to get a heavier truck, and i just stared blankly at him and was like DAD LOOK AT HOW COOL AND FAST HIS TRUCK IS. it makes it that much cooler when you beat a p.o.s with a fullsize. but yeah it was funny

bw, where can you weigh your truck at, at SAR?

When you get your timeslip the scales are on the other side of the road next to a little building.
