I don't know if anyone else saw the June 2006 issue of motor trend, but they tested 6 "supercars". I was surprised to see the fastest quarter mile was only at 11.3 at 134mph out of the Accufab/Ford GT. Am i missing something here? The 900hp GTO ran a 12.6 at 130. Are the tires seriously that bad or what? They all ran Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires and 100 octane fuel. How is it that we see 9 and 10 second GTOs and even TRUCKS (Parish), but these guys couldn't get into the 10s?

The GTO ran a 12.6@130 mph that just doesn't sound right to me. Maybe a 11.6@130

Maybe the dont launch off like most people would. i know when they do 0-60 its like a normal take off from having the pedal floored. Yea i dont think they build RPMs before launching out.

Too much power for the tires to grip. And I noticed the Hennesy viper and the Lingenfelter Vette were the only 2 groups that decided to take the challenge of putting on slicks. And the C6 busted a diff. And even with the slicks, they couldnt get traction.
hmm i'll never buy pilots ever! lol
allen needs to tune these guys bad
