The differential gasket is leaking, and the cover is rotting through, though they say at work. But since it will cost me 22 bucks employee price, i went ahead for the cover. Now I got to get the fluid. The cover should be here tomorrow. I might work on it at work with a lift, or just do it at home.

I has a similar problem as you, a small hole/crack in my cover, except mine was caused by a chunk of one of the spider gears hitting the cover when the G80 locker exploded during a launch under boost.

Are you replacing the cover with a cast aluminum? Or just a stock replacement?
