    i installed my shorties, and bolted rigt up will i need to cut pipe or flange to make them fit any advice

    Shorties are made to bolt right in place of the factory manifolds.

    Oh you are talking about installing lt headers in place of your shorties? If so then you need to have the y-pipe modified to attach to the collectors of the lt headers.

    what LT&#39;s did you buy? pacesetter has a y pipe for theirs, but all others you need to cut and weld

    Take your truck over to Deer Park Muffler and ask for Mark the owner. He&#39;ll build your "Y" pipe and save you money.

    Dynatech (SuperMaxx) LT&#39;s also can be bought with y-pipe that bolts right in.

    they are pacestter i didnt know it was needed saw it for &#036;129

    I bet he would charge 100 to do it. Whenever he tells you a price you can talk him down some still. I learned that the hard way after over paying for a while and argued with him on the price he dropped it down some. They do good work.
