Well guys, finally had my dads 02 ext.cab Z1 with a 5.3 dynoed with the Lingenfelter GT2 cam!Well needless to say I was impressed again with Lingenflters cam in his truck like I was with my truck!
Last time on the dyno with the stock cam and stock valve springs it put down 245RWHP peak and now with this cam and LS6 springs it put down 271RWHP peak! Now that is peak numbers, the chart is very smooth and this cam really starts to shine at 4000RPM to redline (fuel cutoff) which is at 6400RPM!At over 5000RPM it gain about 33 more RWHP than the stock cam!
The temps were only degrees different than the last dyno and the baro was damn near the same also,so it was pretty much the same temps, humidity and Baro pressure! All in all this thing pulls very nice especially for a Z71 ext.cab and I am impressed again with there cams!
Lingenfelter said my truck and my dads truck would gain about 25-30RWHP with there cam we have!Well my truck put down right at 30 RWHP more and dads put down right at that also,so there claims are very accurate it looks like!
Just thought I would run this by yall
Later guys
Charlie
