Here's a link to what some of the Aussies are putting on their LS1's down yonder .

Has anyone looked at the Australian GTO ? Or more accurately the American Monaro since the GTO is built on the Monaro platform . The CV8 looks really hot but costs about $45,000 US whereas the GTO starts around $33,000 I think.

I was floored when I saw the ''Ute SS".Check it out .

Those sneaky bastards at GM Australia have been holding out on us ! They've been making their own version of the El Camino all these years and it's available with the LS1 . I think they would sell reasonably well , at least as well at the GTO's . For some reason they rate their engines in terms of kW (kilowatts?) instead of good old fashioned HP . Metric crap I suppose.

GM has vehicles like that at their disposal but yet none of it shows up over here. Too bad we'll never see any of those vehicles as left-hand drive states cars.
    New project truck:

    '00 ECSB 4wd, 5.3, 3" body lift, gap guards, 18x9 Moto Metal 951's, 305/60/18 Mickey Thompson MTZ's

To-do list: Built rear end, 6.0 swap with built top end, 4L80e, and a couple bottles in the bed.

Australian dollars equal 75 cents US so multiply their number by 3/4. I actually got on to Ebay and some other sites to see if any of these cars were being sold here and found nothing .
