    In regards to this... http://forum.ls1truck.com/index.php?showto...t=0&#entry33430

I have talked to GM and it is gonna cost me at least 500 for them to rip it apart and see what it wrong before they can tell me if they are gonna cover some of the costs. I really don't want to get sucked into all of that BS as the dealership always f*cks me around. So with all of that said I have been looking at transmissions and would like some help. Parish has told me not to get a Dr. Evyl transmission as they are a pain to deal with also. He recommended I get one from FLP. Here is a link. Do you think this is a little over kill for the Stage 4. I may be able to call them and see if they have something a little less.

Also while I am doing all of this do you think I should change out my flexplate and torque converter? Thank you all for your input and help.

If the transmission is out it's always a good time to change the converter. I don't know much about the FLP transmission, but I don't know why it won't work if other people have had good experiences with them.
