5.7 liter to 5.3 liter Vortec in a 88 Chev

Just new to the forum and very green with this project. I have purchased an 88 short bad Chevy with a 5.7 liter and a donor 2002 Chevy with a 5.3 liter vortec. I know from some researching that this has been done already and was just wanting advice and tips on the swap. Things like motor mounts and wiring harnesses and any other advice that would be helpful.

that would be a great conversion, we have done quite a few of them here at the shop. If you need an engine harness built feel free to email me Ray@nelsonperformance.com
as far as motor mounts go, the dirty dingo sliders work great and let you keep the factory trans crossmember and drive shaft length
