what all do i have to do to get the 2004 5.3l i just bought swapped out for the 5.0 thats in my 1997 chevy, with keeping the stock tranny? i know i need motor mount adapters and i know that the 2004 motor is not drive by wire its electronic throttle body. is there a way to make it work??? i have the ECU and wire harness for the new engine also. am i going to need to keep part of my old harness to wire into? any help would be very much appreciated
