    Intake swap

I searched using "intake swap" and a couple other ways, but did not get much information for what I am looking for.

We pulled my 5.3 and replaced it with a rebuilt 6.0. The intake that was on the 6.0 was pretty cruddy, so I went with my 5.3 intake. I was home on block leave and did not have much time to do everything I wanted to.

My question is this. Is it worth swapping it out, of so how much hp/tq does it add? What all will I need to do the swap? (hoses, vacuum lines, etc.) I know ran across this before while researching the motor swap. I know I read something regarding this, maybe it referred to a aftermarket intake or aftermarket throttle body.

    Thanks for the help.
Maybe make it a sticky of a good result of information comes in?

The 5.3 and 6.0 intakes are the same.

Funny, my 6.0 intake looked to be more rounded and bigger in diameter then the 5.3 that came in the truck, I think I remember different vacuums as well?
