5.7 to 4.8 swap

Ok I see threads on here for ppl going bigger with their engines, but being the redneck I am, I dare to be different.
I have a 95 gmc k1500 with a 5.7 tbi, also I have at my disposal a 2011 silverado (it was rolled) with a 4.8 with 22000 miles on it. Both have 4l60e 4x4 transmission. Can I put the 4.8 in the 95, & keep the tbi? Has anyone done this? Can it be done?

Sure it can be done, but what are you going to accomplish using the tbi?..... nothing but hassle. If you have the whole truck why would you waste time asking about using the tbi?
