Thread: My chrome door handles...

    Wow, I just got back from Houston, and damn! I live in Atlanta, and nobody around here seems to have chrome door handles like me, but in Houston, I saw many... Sheesh, the vehicles with the chrome handles were all G-H-E-T-T-O. Most of them I saw rolling out of the apartments near Hobby. Really making me rethink them...

    I am also wishing I had opted for a set of running boards like jethro...

    i dont like the chrome buckets. i think they are kinda cheap looking but that just me. im not too big into the bling bling. i think matched handles look good, or the ones with a chrome handle and matched bucket look sweet too.

    so what did you think about H-town? is it hot enough here for ya? it hasnt even been too hot here lately now that i think about it.

    I'm originally from Houston, but it always amazes me how big it keeps getting. Believe it or not, the temp is pretty close to what it is here in Hotlanta...

    I put Escalade handles on mine and love them.
    ECSB 02 Silverado, Supercharged 402ci,224/230 .581/.588, Nelson tune, built 4l60e, 4.10's, TT3000, on 20's.

    You have to be carefull with the chrome. It can go from cool to tacky in a big hurry.
    No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

    Hell its been averaging 95-100 for about a week now in Arkansas!

    yeah but houston gets 99% humidity along with those temps over 100 i was in freer texas about a month ago and it showed 110 on my mirror, but i never broke a sweat! i cant get from my back door to my truck without breaking a sweat in houston.

    I am into the painted w/ a chrome handle. Similar to the escalade. Those are the kind that are going on my truck. I think they look really good, just enough flash.
