    Need your opinion

I'm in the planning stage of my next project to begin real soon.

The project is a mid-seventies Chevy pickup. It will be a daily driver and tow vehicle for my boat. I do not plan on any racing so I don't need high performance. The truck will have a 5-spd manual transmission.

My question is - Is there any reason to shy away from the LC9 (5.3L Flexfuel motor). I do not intend to change the rest of the truck to flexfuel or to use E85 fuel.

    What's your opinion? Be nice!

No reason. Motor is the exact same. If it's a Gen 3 it has higher flowing fuel rails and bigger injectors. If it's Gen 4, it's identical to its non-FF counterpart.

Flex fuel just means its capable of running e85. If your swapping it in it wont matter.

No problem.... Just make sure to use the search bar to find answers first on your own, and try not to "re-post" old questions....people on hear hate it lol....but feel free to ask away
