    May be a Texan soon...

Got two job offers this week and one of them will be Northern Texas and Southern Oklahoma... the other is in Ohio. I think I'd rather stay warm...

My permanent residence will still be here in Oklahoma. I cannot afford to pass up a privately contracted pipeline inspector position at age 23 though.

Plus Ohio is well, Ohio. I spent half an hour there. The state smells like a dirty dish cloth.

Gus, the information I've been provided is minimal. I will likely be on multiple jobs as this company is sending 50 inspectors that way and it hasn't exactly been sorted out as to who goes where. I was offered a utility position, which means I could oversee anything from right of way construction to compressor stations. I was informed that I would be travelling in excess of 200 miles per day on average.

You have to parts of ohio, Rural Ohio which is the vast majority of the land with farms and hard working people and the major cities that have people that live off the system. Unfortunately the cities have more weight of the vote due to higher population. But lets not make this a political thread.
