Someone got a little work truck

Well, I say little. It's more like a damned greyhound. I picked this guy up on Friday. Its an 05 LLY with 160k on it. It has a few cosmetic issues, but other than that, its pretty good mechanically.

It'll get a Flowpro 5" turbo back, AFE or LBZ turbo mouth, S&B intake, Air Dog 165 lift pump, and an EFI Live tune. Also gonna need some different tires. These are brand new, but they're JUNK. Probably going to go with some 33" Hankook M/Ts on it. All that stuff is gonna have to wait a little bit, as the whole reason for getting it was to pull a fifth wheel. I spent my fifth wheel money on the truck, so now I have to get a little bit saved up for a down payment on one. On the plus side, buying a fifth wheel nets me an extra 840$ a month untaxed... so it pays for itself.

I fully suspect I'll have to do headgaskets on this thing at some point. It seems to have new injectors.

Here it is when I bought it

And here it is today after getting the Stevie Wonder treatment.

Boss Hog! Needs a 1/3 drop! Shackles in the rear and crank the tortions down a bit. Also could use the Bumper lift mod to get rid of that gay 2" plastic piece between the grill and bumper.

Haha, probably just gonna get a leveling kit for the front. Gotta find some of those big tow mirrors that aren't the accordion style. Power, heated, and signal in them preferred.

I've been looking at Idaho Rob and Diesel Addiction. I've noticed you on the duramax forums and dieselplace. Any pointers? What egr delete kit is best for the lly?

Idaho Rob or Kory Willis are the two I would trust with my truck. I've ran tunes from quite a few tuners and there are a LOT of bad tuners out there.

Scott at Screamin Diesel Performance has a good EGR Delete kit, I'm very happy with the kit I got form him.

I do all my own work, regardless of how much I know. Diesels are pretty new to me, but I don't plan on doing anything crazy with it.

I need someone to buy my silver truck so I have a little mod money
