    Newbie from the North

Hello folks...new to the ls powered truck scene. Gotta 2000 rcsb sporting a 5.3. Planning on making it a bit quicker as I can afford it. First on the list are lt's and a cai. One day I wouldn't mind pushin' some boost thru it compliments of a turbo !

Welcome! Go straight for a custom tune! Its the best bang for your buck and if you get it from Nelson Performance re-tunes are free. I would also suggest an ebay CAI and Calspeed LT's to save yourself money and make good power.

Ebay intake is almost the exact same for half the money. As for LT's the Calspeeds are good quality for only $300. I would throw a good sized magnaflow in place of the stock muffler and be good for exhaust. Will sound great and perform ever better. If you are going with LT's you are going to need a tune to keep it from throwing codes.

It's got a muffler shop special duel exhaust on it but I'm not a fan of it. I'll look into the eBay set-up...only reason I wanted to go with the spectre is because of price and it was polished out. I'll have to get a hold of this nelson performance, I've seen his name mentioned ALOT

Welcome to the site! You're straight across Lake Erie from me. I would say start with your intake, vette servo, muffler headers/ tune.
