99 nbs sierra headlights never shut off!!!

i have a nbs sierra and the auto headlight are always on all of a sudden, the newer trucks you can hit the button a few times to over ride but on the 1999 i cant. what can i do to get ride of that whole auto setup so i can just use the switch???? thanks

You can press the dome override 10times fast and it will turn them off.
