    Allen,

Tried to call ya Friday and Saturday and left ya an email Friday. But I have got to get a fan harness from ya. My VSC crapped out on me again Friday going home from work. So I can't wait like I had hoped to get the harness. I need you to send me one ASAP. I would like one with the manual turn on switch if possible. Also, I'm pretty sure you already have my pcm set to turn on the fans, but just double check to make sure if ya could. I wanna make sure they are all set right with the temps.

    Guys,

Any advice with installing the harness. I'm not real great with wiring, but I figure it should be self explanitory.

Yeah, I actually talked to Lisa at lunch today and she got me all fixed up. The harness should be here tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. So, I should be good. Yeah, it was the damn box itself giving me problems. First about 3 weeks ago, the wiring leads fell off the box itself, and ever since then I have had problems with the fans cutting on at the right time and causing an idle issue. Then last Friday the damn positive and negative wires at the box shifted and the boots themselves melted together and caused the fans to stop working. Its been one nightmare after another with this VSC, so I just decided to have Allen send me one of his.

By the way, how hard was it to do the nelson harness? Is it like a weekend job or something that I could tackle during the week after work one day and have it driveable for the next day. This is my daily driver, so I can't have it down. Right now the fans are working, but its just a rigged up job so....

Took 30 minutes and 2 beer, ok just 30 minutes. The beer was after when the neighbors asked what I was doing trying to study a peice of paper so hard. His directions are simple. When you look for the A/C wire make sure you get the correct green, I almost got the wrong one because I did not look at the back side of the wire.

its almost too easy. takes about an hour when taking your time. i can help if you get stuck or if you just dont feel comfortable messing with it. if you can get the VSC hooked up without any problems the nelson harness will be a cake walk.
