What will the mechanical side effects be of a bad knock sensor?

    Where is the knock sensor

And what can I can I do to test it.

Can you turn off that like an O2 sensor with a tune.

Anybody know what kinda price we are talking about to replace one if it is bad.

I think Allen can desensitize them, but I dont think he likes to, I wanted to do that with my 99 but went with the 02 PCM instead, big difference! I'm not sure of the effects, but I am betting you would either get lots of false knocking or no knock detection at all.
