Moving Leaf Springs inboard??? Can it be done on a 02 Silverado?

    Hey Guys,

Its been a while since i have posted. I am finally done with building my powertrain and am moving on to paint/body/wheels. I have Cal-Tracs and 4/6 drop with flip kit in the rear and want to run a really wide tire and wheel combo in the back, but the leaf springs are in the way lol. Do you think the springs could be moved inboard and still be functional with the cal-tracs?

    Let me know your thoughts.

Box rear frame, switch spring mounting points left to right on inside of frame, weld new perches on the axle.
