So im moving on to a newer truck and have to part ways with the old one...For sale is a 2000 silverado 1500 extended cab z-71. we bought the truck new in 2000 and it has been garage kept just about everyday of its life. The truck itself has 111xxx miles on it. The trans has 15xxx miles on it. I just took the motor out and did a complete rebuilt on it- new pistons w/moly rings, all new bearings,new ls7 lifters, all arp bolts (except the head bolts), all new seals, new valve springs, cam, and pushrods, new timing set, new oil pump. The motor had 70xxx miles on it before the rebuild (nothing wrong with it just wanted to freshen it up).. Iv only put around 1000 miles on it since the rebuilt. I also put all brand new ls1 front drive accessories on it when i did the rebuild. New circle d tc 26-2800 stall converter was also installed during the rebuild. Here is the mod list:
Engine- 2000 5.7 ls1 short block, ls2 243 heads milled .015" with PAC 1518 valvesprings, ls6 intake, shanor ported and polished throttle body, comp 7.4 pushrods, pat g custom cam - 226/230 .598/.600 111 lsa
Drivetrain- Performance built 4L65e trans, Circle d 26-2800 stall, w/ full billet servos, shift kit, beast sunshell, z-pac clutches, wider 2-4 band and a few other goodies... has a oversized external trans cooler and i have bypassed the trans cooler in the radiator. The rear has 4.11 gears with a detroit tru-trac. Front is stock with 3.73 gears (never got around to swapping those out)
Fuel system- The injectors are SVO 42# greentops, Has a walbro 255 fuel pump, and the fuel rail is a return style fuel rail off of a 97-98 corvette
Inside the cab- The interior is a grey leather and is in extremely great shape... Has a triple pod guage pillar with autometer trans temp, manifold vac, and a innovative wideband. The stereo is a Dual 7" lcd flip up touch screen dvd player. Front door speakers are Kickers and the rears are sony xplods.
The truck is sittin on liquid metal 20" rims wrapped in a set of 275 45 r20 cooper discoverer ht's. The back tires are brand new and have less than 500 miles on them. the front have about 70% tread left and have less than 5000 miles.
I also have a smitty built brush guard on the front its black.
Exhaust system consists of LPP stainless long tubes and y pipe, with dual cut outs, running through a magnaflow muffler. All piping is 3"
Ok so heres the bad- the power steering pump pulley needs to be pressed on a little more (i didnt have the special tool to put it on and never got around to renting one). Still runs great the belt just doesnt line up perfect on the pulley. There is a crack on the lid of the center console, and the wires in the rear for the trailer light plug have been chewed on by my german shepard puppy (the dealer quoted me $80 for a new plug with wires that you just splice in to the harness). Other than those little things the truck runs flawlessly. I have always kept it clean and kept a coat of wax on it. I had it professionally detailed last summer. Im asking $15,500. I have WAY more than this in the truck and i have every reciept for just about everything to prove it. I will prob not budge too much on the price as im not to excited to sell it.
