    spraying through shifts

    just wondering for yall that use nitrous if yall spray through the shifts.

    and if not what kind of damage could it do over a period of time.

    newb question i know

    1989 RCSS 5.3/4L60E swap

    Just trans damage unless you're bouncing off the rev limiter.

    I sprayed a 150 through the shifts without issue, but I have a built trans.

    Spray thru shifts on the 200, and anyone ive ever talked to and runs big shots like 400 and up always says spray thru shifr, progressive controllers and window switches are for pansies.

    I sprayed through the shift. Always thought it was easier on things than letting off and hitting it repeatedly after each gear..
    Slowest in Oklahoma...

    I sprayed through shifts and it's still good. I also agree its better to keep the power on rather than on then off then back on again.

    Do it. If you dont have a built tranny just stock, be ready to rebuild it at any time. The first few times i sprayed my 4.8 i didnt spray through the shifts and could tell it just didnt seem right so from then on i let her rip the whole 1/4 mi
