    Autometer junk.

Ok so I have an Autometer C2 wideband. I'm actually on my 3rd gauge. As they continuously screw up. Well today, was the last straw. Out touring the truck around, notice the WB is bouncing between full rich and full lean. Thinking "Great, this POS is Fubar'd again," well just as I'm about to pull in my driveway the cab of the truck just fills with smoke and that burnt electrical smell. Look under the dash, and all the wiring for the damn thing is just smoldering.

I've wired it properly with the fuse Autometer recommends and loomed up all my wires. The thing shorted out internally. I'm done. I'll take the loss on it. The god damn thing could have cost me my truck.

Good choice. I love mine. Very easy install and have had zero problems.
