    May have a problem!!

Well looks like i wont be driving the truck until this gets solved. I changed my plugs today and find this.

The front 2 cylinders were like this but none of the others. Whats the cause. Also what should my AFR be. I have AFR, fuel pressure , and boost gauges.

Last time I saw that was on an engine that went 200k without a tuneup. Not quite sure what would be makin yours do that though. Hopefully somethin small and easy.

Could it be the tune. Its in need of a tune pretty bad. Those plugs had 20k on them. What should my AFR be

There isn't really a correct answer to that question. A completely stock vehicle will be trying to reach stoich or 14.7:1 However you may reach the best or safest power at other ratios. What is your current AFR? Who tuned your vehicle as is right now?

Melted the plug. Too much timing. Try a colder plug.

AFR should be stoich at idle, just cruising with no load. WOT, depends on the combo and what it likes, but I think about 13.5 is the lean limit.

I put TR6s in it, the ones i pulled out were stock heat. Current tune is a dyno tune, cant remeber the name of the place. Wanna say my current WOT AFR is 13, its been a few weeks since ive really drove it. Just cruising or at idle AFR is about 14.8

Just realized it was FI, yeah your pushing the lean side at 13. Not so bad it'd melt plugs though, that's definitely timing/too hot of plugs
