few recent upgrades on the truck

I have been grooming the truck to be competitive in more than just straight line lately. I plan on competing in the truck throwdown and some other all around competitions with it, as well as drag racing of corse. I had some factory 20s widened out by Weldcraft wheels for the rear, they are 12.5" wide and have the 315-35-20 Nitto 555r tires on them. They drive great, and hook good for street tires, they still break lose up to 100 mph, but its more controlable than the 31-16.6-15 et streets were. I also added some 16" rotor 6 piston Wilwood brakes up front, and DB Rods Put some rear disks on that will clear my 15" bogarts with ease. Along with the front brakes I added a complete front ART stongarm kit with shockwaves and their Muscle bar swaybar as well. It all turned out very nice, drives great, and handles awesome. I took it to the track recntly and made a few passes just playing, 14 psi, spinning very bad went 10.2@139 but the converter I have is Junk and Im blowing right through it so I have a Neal Chance on the way to fix that. and also have some much larger Bogart wheels and bigger slicks to help with the traction issue. anyway, here are som pics

not sure if wheels will get PC black or not. But just driving and enjoying it for now. thanks for looking

Oh my God. Leave the wheels as they are. That looks so sick. How are you filling the bags, is it just a schrader valve or do you have a compressor, etc.?

thanks, i kinda like the polished look. just used to black.I have a small overload style compressor with a 2 in 1 gauge. I dont air them down or up often, so works great and is light.

ya, truck is tubbed, i run a 15x14 wheel with a 10" back space for my big tires with plenty of room. the 20s are only 9" backspace so fit with ease.

Loved those wheels. Truck is a beast. No telling what it will run with traction and no trans problems.

Thanks, its coming together. It is a true street truck, Its very heavy and still has all the comforts. ya, thats with 20% converter slip and not sure on how much tire slip...lol... I will get a 9.xx pass, then just play with that for a while. Then I will build a fast truck to compete with all these big guns coming out.

my track setup...lol.... my big 15x14" bogarts have not come in yet, these are my old 15x10" rear wheels.
