Soo I have an '06 5.3L 1500 silverado. Its my daily driver/ weekend war wagon. I've had it scince june and feel its time to dig into it but im pretty much a noob. I know my parts n basic stuff but i dont know the techincal things like cam lope or tuning. Pretty much i want to see how much hp/tq i can get for cheap scince im on a really tight budget. I have seen ls6 intake manifolds being installed on 5.3's but i've also heard that the intake manifolds that come factory on trucks are the best stock...? Obviously im trying to be cheap as possible lol. and a guy i talked to tried selling me a T3-T4 turbo setup out of a honda civic for $500 but i had to take it with a grain of salt. I dont have 5k to drop on a new turbo set up and im not big enough into this to port or polish anything (so i think) so thats why im askin all you rocket scientists on here!
