Trying to decide if I should sell my motor and get something different for my new truck. I was going to put this motor in my 99' but now that I got a 03' I'm thinking about maybe a SC/TC or even a 6.0
Details;
98' LS1 from Trans AM
Before I bought this motor I took the car for a drive and this thing was unbeliveably strong for the miles. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. With only headers it dyno'd around 310.
I have since pulled the motor apart to inspect it and its looking much better than exspected. I only pulled the pan, intake, and heads off. A very clean motor and no sign of wear.
The heads are having a valve job done and Comp Cam 918 springs put in. I also put in a LS6 oil pump as well.
I have a brand new never used TR220/220 114 LSA cam and TR push rods with it as well. Not yet installed. This was a $600 kit from TR.
I also have SLP gasket and bolt install kit.
I have other parts that came with it as well like the water pump, sensors, balancer, etc. If you would like pictures I can take them as well.
I am asking $2000 for the whole deal, or $1650 w/out the cam & pushrods.
