    Couple questions on a 95 4.3 to a 4.8 ls swap

I've got a 95 4x4 work truck with a blown 4.3. I also have a complete 4.8 out of a 2000. I'm going to swap in the 4.8 but still gathering info. Here are the questions I can't seem to find answers to:

Can I use my 4.8 harness to splice into the gauges and run them? I just need to find the "tach" wire on the 00 harness and connect it to the "tach" wire on the gauges? Same for water and oil?

Can I use the 2000 A/C compressor as long as I get the lines mated to the 95 lines?

I don't need to do anything to the wiring on my trans? It's an automatic.

The swaps seem pretty straight forward so far. I have access to AllData at the shop so I can print out diagrams until there are no more trees.

Seems to me that a little more research needs to be done.

i know on my 5.7 tbi to 5.3 i had to re-use the oil pressure sensor and water temp sensor, i had to get some adapters from street and performance just call them up they will know what you will need.

As for the a/c the new compressor will not fit without cutting a good notch out of the passenger frame rail, there are a few options you can do.

novak a/c mount is what im going with and then there is josh powers a/c bracket and you can search around and find out more but they will allow you to retain ur factory a/c compreesor, lines, and wiring

    - 3200 Stall
