    I guess he thought it was on when i left off the light, cause like at 10mph, i chirp second and he zoomed around the other car and got on my bumper, well turning over the bridge i put it in first and nailed it, of course tires spinning everywhere and then second half way thru my tires grab, after all the rukus, he was obviously a few cars length behind me.


    he's lucky i couldn't continue into third cuase of my shit shaft, i'm sure there would have been nothing left of him, heheheh, btw, i'm installing the HD yoke and shaft tomorrow, well joe is from Armstrong Automotive. (thanks joe)

    Even though I love camaros and trans ams I would love to walk all over them with my Silverado . Good kill!

    Most LS1 powered Z28's run faster than 13.54 in the 1/4. Must have had an idiot behind the wheel.

    ya, some do, but racing on the street is a whole different ball game, guess he didn't have very good traction either, however, i have raced a few z's slower than that at the track.

    down here in sa, tx, most stock z's run about mid 13's at the track.

    13.8's with a GOOD driver here

    you didn't kill shit if you never gave him the chance go race. if you just nailed it and he came to catch ya and couldn't cuz you have the same motor and MORE mods in a pretty light truck. not a kill...more of a "i ran from a race cuz he woulda killed me from a dig" thing.

    hahaha, pretty funny, not all fbodys are faster than trucks,

    i would consider it a race, becuase once i nailed it , he did to, the thing is he was a few cars back because i was leaving him, not cause he wasn't ready, he was just as ready as i was, he was just behind me.

    btw, what about this kill.

    this was when i had the 3.42's and single track (traction did matter), i'm going down the highway and look in my mirror, i see a ls1 anniversay, yellow trans am weaving in and out of traffic, i move to the middle lane and speed up a little bit, put my arm outside and motion for him to slow it down, then, i motion for a race, i put it in 2nd, he does whatever, and then we nail it, almost immediately, i pull 4 cars ahead of him (that's mid way thru second) and just continue to pull him, as i hit third he's obviously behind me even more, i slow and we do this two more times, i beat him every time, he gives me the thumbs up and on his way.

    i'm sure once we hit higher speeds he would have gained on me, but not from 50mph to 130mph.

    this is just one of many races against a trans am, the southside of town is full of stangs/lt's/ls1's, just pick one and they'll race you.

    btw, what does your truck run in the 1/4,

    also, i've never "ran" from a race, i don't mind if i loose or win, it's all in fun

    ran low 13s with the 5.3 and a smaller cam and smaller shot....now with a bigger/better cam for nitrous use, a bigger shot, a better motor and heads.....WHO KNOWS!!!!!

    not bad you should be in the mid 12's at least.

    how much n20 you gonna spray? there's a 4.8L here in SA that i just tuned, and he's spraying 200shot, he's gotten a 12.7 1/4 mile pass so far, that was without any tuning, i'm sure there's more. he does have better pistons, springs, cam, rods, etc.
