    New ride.

Well in December I traded my Tahoe in on a 2009 GTI 2dr/6spd/. I upgraded it to a stage 2, it was fun but wasn't a Chevy truck. So two weeks ago I traded the GTI in on a 2011 Texas Edition cc, 2wd. This is my first brand new vehicle. I had it six days and removed all the molding and badges, yesterday I had my Dynomax 3" Bullet welded in. I have also removed the factory lift blocks from the rear.

    First day.

Before removing lift blocks, badges and molding.

    After.

    The removed.

No the factory lift blocks don't make that big of a difference but I removed them anyways.
I drove a 6.2, and really wanted one, but the only ones even remotely close were extended cab only. And with my crappy credit, and the goodies offered on this truck I went with it.
Gave 27,000 for it with 15 miles. The "convenience" package was thrown in for free also.

Well I really like the 6.2 I drove. It drives completely different than the 5.3/3.42 combo I have. But I wasn't driving to another state to get one in crew cab. The four full doors are more important to me. Plus I'll be able to get what I want out of the 5.3 and price was a factor for me.

    Thanks

Plans for the 5.3 are cam/heads+full bolt ons of course. And possibly a 100hp shot of laughing gas. Anyone have any good links on the 6L80? How strong is it?
Plans for the truck in general, low static drop, mild stereo, tint

Nice looking truck, you shouldn't have any issues out of the transmission I beat on one pretty bad for about 13 months with no issues, easily saw over a 100 runs down the 1320.
