    cam tuning suggestions?

Hey peeps, FNG here.... Anyone got any suggestions for tuning after installing a comp cams 54-455-11 cam in my 06 GMC sierra 4.8L? I havent put the cam in yet, but i was wondering if i can properly tune it using my diablo tuner or if i'd hafta take it to someone to get it right the first time? Daily driver so i cant afford downtime, only vehicle i have! Currently getting ready to drop in some 4.10s in the rear, then the cam will be next

thats pretty much what i was thinking. I've gotten pretty handy with my diablo but nothing ever beats a true dyno tune. Anyone know of any good tuners in the clarksville, nashville tn area? I havent been able to find one.

only problem with a mail order tune is i dont have HPtuners or similar, just the diablo. There is a diablo custom tuning shop in hopkinsville ky (bout 15 mins from me) but i've heard they arent that good. Dont trust my DD soon to b monster DD to just anyone. being this is my ONLY vehicle and a single father of two i cant send my ECM off to be tuned - cant have downtime. i can spend a day getting tuned but not days.... any suggestions?

Nelson or any other reputable tuner can send you an ecm to replace yours so there is no downtime.
