It should work. The only problem will be if it doesn't atomize correctly.

well its good it would work but not atomizing correctly worry's me, is there any way to improve atomization shy of buying a plate? (this will be using a low psi secondary fuel system)
Low pressure is going to make it worse IMO. The plates make it atomize really nice. Look at the way they are designed. Youtube has some great videos on it. I don't know exactly how you could go about making it better. My only fear is that being that close to the intake, it may not atomize.

so it sounds like i shouldn't even consider using a low psi stand alone (or buy a new high psi pump and regulator for the stand alone) or save my cash and just buy a plate (vids on youtube were very convincing thank you) can the plate be used with a low psi stand alone or is efi psi required?
The 900+ psi of n2o coming through the nozzle helps with the atomization.
