    What do you guys think??

Ok I got the truck and swap all done! Now I need a tune. The computer I have is the 99-00 model computer forget the number of it. But its tuned for a 5.3 and I also need a couple codes deleted. How much do you guys think I will gain from the tune? And the big question, everyone of mine and my friends ls1 cars and trucks we have taken to Tue Dallas area for a Dyno and street tune for 400. My 6.0 is pretty much stock for now but will get a cam swap this summer. So mail order tune or save money and have a Dyno/street tune?? Thanks guys!

We offer a mail order tune that is called the HotRod Tune.
It consists of removing codes/emissions and adjusting for the tire/gear combo.

    It's $150.

When you're ready for the full tune, the hotrod tune will apply towards the full tune, so another $150, for a total of $300.

A mail order tune will work just fine for your setup.

Well sounds good but I need to run the codes again, I think most things were already removed. Rear o2s, vats, and stuff like that. I just need it checked out I'm not sure whats in there I need to remove. Will I still need to pay for The hot rod tune? Also how much to retune later?

usually customer just state, "turn off evap, o2's, cats, emissions, etc" or if you have codes, I'll know what to delete, or anything that is related.
basically if you don't have something hooked up, you'll need it deleted.
most of the time, customer just request: remove all emissions.

if you get a hotrod tune from us, you need to pay for it, there are no retunes for free with the hotrod tune, because it's just a one time shot.

but, if you upgrade to the full tune later, it will be an additional $150, then free retunes start up.

if you buy the full tune now at $300, then it includes anything you need/want and free retunes.

Ok thanks Allen! I will definitely be using you guys as a lot on this site have and I've never heard anything bad. It'll be about two weeks. But could you give me just a guess on what I might gain with a full tune? I'm gonna have you do it either way but I'm just curious. It's got a Cai, duals with stock manifold, a probuilt 4l60. And thanks for the reply

We've seen as high as 32hp to the wheels, but that's here and there.
    Typically it's 26-28hp.

I did a tune on an engine dyno a while back, way back, it gained 58hp at the flywheel.
