Yeah, I am thinking on tossing a 01+ 6.0 into my Z71 around end of year....gotta love X-mas bonus and early planning.

Anyway, what would an oil pan to valve covers motor sell for?

This is just a direct swap right...?

What would this swap cost me to pay someone? And appx hrs to do it...8-16?

A friend of mine just sold a long block for $800 or so. I believe it is a direct bolt in and would probably run you at least $500 to have someone swap it in.

Was that $800 for a complete 6.0? So that means just drop it in and let er rip?
Also, was that for an LQ9?

Either way $800 is good! .5 of compression isn't too much anyway to go for the extra cost of that block

You got it , just pull the engine out and in with the 6L, just like the old days of the 350's.

You may need some tuning to correct idle , plus you may want to bump up the rpms and adjust shifts a tad, other than that, easy swap.

Would anyone happen to know the part number for the LQ9? Is there an actual part # for the entire motor?
    Thanks
