    Unhappy CST caddy transfer case awd

    im currently installing a l98 with a 6l80 tans in my 1993 typhoon i bought this setup from speartech so it is turn key my goal is to keep all wheel drive does anyone no about the all wheel drive cts caddy they use this trans so i think i can make this work but will my 3.42 gears work with the six speed trans

    quite not get your question....

    the CTS comes with 3.73 I think, Probably you have to reprogram the TCU for the gears.

    Yeah, there would defintely be some tuning involved... but mechanically, I believe it should be fine.

    3.42s should be fine, msost Suburbans and Tahoes with the 6L80e have 3.42s. I would imagine the AWD on the CTS is ABS related just like it is on the newer Escalades and Denalis. Not sure if the 149 has been adapted to the 6L80e yet, if it has that would be the way to go.
