ran the truck in my sig for the first time tonight.

best of 9.83 in the 1/8

this was my first time around the 1/8th stuff so im not sure about what to think about the time. is it decent? is there a way to convert that to 1/4 times?

i ran with my gate and spare, and subwoofers/competiton box still on the truck. my computer is still messed up but hopefully i will be making a trip to allen at the beginning of the summer.

take 9.83 and times it times 1.56. = 15.33. this is not set in stone but was only 1 tenth off from all my runs.

That's close to what mine runs without the nitrous. That's damn good for your add on's. When I get through with my LS1 swap maybe we can meet out at the track one night.

sounds good vortec. after allen tunes me up i gotta lay off the modding for a while and concentrate on paying this turd off! ill never get it done at this rate

i should have it payed off this summer, then im thinking a shift kit and headers will bring a smile.

i almost feel like it ran better last time i was out at the 1/8. how much time do you normally cut going from full weight to no tailgate/spare/ and removing a sound system(speaker box and speakers were heavier than tailgate)

last time (full weight) my best 1/8 was 9.83
this time (weight loss) my best 1/8 was 9.56

between the runs i bypassed the throttle body, changed intakes from an open element to a UPD with volant ram air.

i wish i ran full weight to see if my new intake setup was better . do yall think the time difference was all from the weight drop, or does the intake look like it couild have some to do with it????? or is there even a way to tell

Weight reduction definately helps out, also what was your 60' time ? That always helps too. Intakes usually help, but from my experience only about a tenth or so, but I could be wrong...Zed
