My little 97 honda accord automatic with 163k miles on it has been acting up. On downshift acceleration it will rev 1000 rpms and then catch the gear. When the trans is cold it will slip 5 or 6 hundred rpms and then catch a gear. When it warms up it doesn't slip on shifts other than the downshift from 3to 2 or 2 to 1 not exactly sure which gear it does it in.
Today it does this weird thing as if the torque converter is locking and unlocking. Not sure really what it is. What do you guys think? It recently was serviced with honda fluid and is not low on fluid.
