    tune,e-fans,headers,magnaflow,plugs and msd wires

Got everything in, Nelson tune, (thankyou allen)wich is great, stainless long tube headers w resonators in y-pipe and a magnaflow #12950 sounds perfectly sick! Also did some msd wires with tr5 spark plugs at the same time. And last but not least are some ''Procomp'' slim fans. Install was cake and now there is sooo much room in front of the motor... wonder what it could be used for?.... the truck has 150,000mi and change, pulls even better trough entire rpm range, was hoping for more low end but this will keep me happy for awhile. As you can imagine I'm not getting great mileage from my current driving habits. however, when I'm driving like normal human being I get about 1.5-2mpg better witch I'm happy about.e fans1.jpg

What kind of mods did you have to do to connect the e-fans? Get a harness from somewhere or make your own? Then did the tune control the on and off or how did that go.

can you just use any ls1 fan or should you look for ones from a truck?

e fans9.jpgyou could probably use any fan you want, the ls1 car fans fit the smaller 28'' radiator and the truck fans are used on 34'' radiators (hope my measurements are correct) what you have to do is figure out how to mount and shroud the fans. i dont use a shroud because these 16'' fans cover the entire radiator and i have zero problems with the fans, the temp or the harness.

I've got ls1 fans on my 34" radiator (were on my old 28" radiator too). I've had zero problems. They work great.

If I were to do it again, I'd probably use taurus fans. They are about the same size, but have hi/low.
