Had to post this here too...

On the way to Houston last week I got a staggering 21.06mpg in my Z!! 13.94 gal and 293.7 miles on the tank. Pretty kickass!

On the way back it dropped to a mere 18.03mpg. 16.09 gal on 290.2 miles. Nice 20mph headwind.

Average them... 19.54 I can dig that all the time. Not bad IMO for a 5600lbs truck with 285 ATs and running 3.73:1 gears. Soon I'll be sporting 4.56:1 gears!

Hey if you see a red convertable vette w/ a tan top, about an early 90's model kick his ass for me will ya. He thought I was trying to race him a few weeks ago and hauled ass around me. So I waited awhile after he got in front of me to see if he was going to slow up but he didn't so I punched it and came up on his back bumper at about 105-110 and let off. So then he punched it while I cruised at about 90. He made the turn onto 35 from 521 and mashed on it again so I made the turn and mashed on it after him and flew up on his bumper again at about 105 and let off again so he hauled ass into town and I just turned off and went to the house. Can't wait to meet up w/ him again in a couple of weeks to realy show him what trucks are made of...Zed

That is the kind of mpg that I can only dream of. For some reason, my truck still doesn't get over 15-16miles per gallon.

Oh, sorry for hijackin earlier, that is some sweet mileage. I have yet to put mine on straight hiway and be sane enough to get good mileage out of mine. But I average about 17-17.5 back and forth to work everyday...Zed
