go to the LSX truck conversions forum, which is right above V8 conversions. at the top, there are threads that are stickied. read them 3 times over at minimum. a lot of questions you may have may already be answered and might find some luck using the search function. plenty of people have done this swap and are willing to help you through out your build. For that mammoth, i would try to find a cheap Lq4 6.0L. Good luck and keep us posted.
