On Friday i was in my truck(chevy 04, 5.3), and i was driving about 10-15, and i floored my truck and it started spinning the street was slippery tough and i had my 20's on, it then made a loud ugly noise as if something broke off and a weird noise, i pulled to the side or the street and check if something was leaking or broken and i find nothing, so i made it home, and i then took it to the dealer ship it bearly has 6K and 2 months use, at the dealer ship they told me i had to lift my truck to original, its dropped ( 4,6), so i then took it home and the noise was getting worse, yesterday my truck was lifted and alligned today and i took it in the dealership, anybody here have an idea on what it could be, on friday we took of the drive shaft and u joints and they looked good.
I got 3.42 gears with posi traction.

i'm not sure but i'm going to say that i doubt the drop had anything to do with it if you did it right.

I stopped by the dealership yesterday, and they had my trucks differential apart, they told me the gasket had been leaking oil, till it got to the point that it needed oil and it was making the ugly noise, When they moved the truck there at the dealership the gasket messed up comletely and it threw all the oil there, so today they are going to check the differential, to see what is messed up, hopefully i can convience the tech to throw in the 3.73's in there on the down low.
