To sell or not to sell

I have been a member of this forum under now, two different names, but for a very long time gathering as much information for my swap once I finially start, to complete it.

But lately, I have been contemplating on selling my 91' chevy short bed 2wd in order to fund the purchase of an 03'+ short bed regular cab silverado.

My 91' needs many things in order to swap in my 6.0, a new transmission, fuel, engine cooling, and the list continues.

If I were to purchase a 03'+ silverado, the 6.0 swap would be pretty direct and I think I would actually save money in the long run if I were to sell my 91' and go this route.

Anyone with any helpful advice, words of wisdom, general thoughts, etc., please chime in.

    Thanks,

    -Dylan

I think it boils down to what body style you like better. Is the time and money worth keeping the older body if you like it better? Or maybe save alittle money and time and upgrade to the newer.
    Thanks, Rick

Unless you are just absolutely in love with the 91, go for the 03. 12 years newer, should be in a lot better shape out of the gate.

You could just buy mine. I would go with a newer truck for the ride quality. So many improvements over the older ones.
