Went up to Lancaster Speedway last wednesday (7/14) for cruise night and to see what the truck would do. I pulled out the right headlight, folded in the mirrors, opened the tailgate and lined up in the staging lanes. First race was the quickest of the night, 10.95@67mph vs. a 2 door Grand Am V6/Ram Air with gay looking aftermarket heads & tails. I absolutely killed him. Either the guy couldn't drive or there was something wrong with his car, I had him by four truck lengths by the end. Second race I ran 10.97 against a new V6 Malibu with a Borla dual exhaust system and HID's on it, I got spanked. Last race I ran 11.00 vs. an F150 ecsb work truck with an intake, exhaust, and an Edge thing on the dash. He was all talk in the staging lanes but i killed him too.
Lancaster is a 1/8 mile track. I had my girl and my cousin with me in the cab all three times. I was running on my 285/75R16 Mud Dawg Radials on stock aluminum wheels. I figure with all three of us, the tool box and the full tank of gas the truck should weigh around 5400 pounds. I have zero wheel spin when I launch. Are these times good for what little I have done to the truck?
