    7.40 @ 90!!!

Went to savannah river dragway saturday hopin to get some good runs in, well it was still pretty hot, and still had some wheel spin off the hit, but the best was a 1.62 60', 7.40 @ 90, 1/8 mile of course. I'm running pretty much the same setup as Garrison, but cam is on a 114 lsa vs. his 112, race weight of 4650 with me in it, just wanted to tell someone!!

Yea G, I think you and I have proven this to be a 7.40 setup, yea 60 ft prolly is better because of my 3800 and mine takes the 200 shot off the hit, thats with 28x10.5 slicks, what size slicks do you run? I've got to do some suspension work! It sqauts and leaves but after the hit it unloads and wont stay planted

i leave on a 100 shot, but i also run drag radials not slicks, 315/45/16s they're like 13inches wide or some crap.... yea get you a 4 link or some caltracs and itll stay down, mine wont hook up on anything over a 100 shot outta the hole i wish i could leave on both stages, but def cam, heads and a 200 shot on a 5.3 gets you 7.40's im heading to the track july 24th gonna try to bust off some faster times might even try leavin on the 200

Yea G, I think I've got alot more in it, i hooked up the wideband before we headed to the track and found that AFR is goin down under 10.0 at WOT, so I raised the bottle pressure to try to lean it out some, I've got a date with my tuner thursday to get her dialed in, who knows, maybe see some .20's or possibly 7.teens out of it? Its a long shot but I'm gonna try to get it under 7.20's

Hey G, what all weight reduction did you do to get to 4100 lbs? I took off the hidden hitch, truck already had a rollpan when I bought it, removed spare tire hanger, it also has a custom full center console and a huge box and amp setup that IS NOT easily removeable, so no loss on weight there. So give me some insight please
